The Glen Allen native arrived on Grounds in 1986 and started on the defensive line for a record-setting George Welsh squad that climbed to number one in the AP poll in 1990.

But it has been Ron's contributions in the boardroom and in the community that have made a true lasting impact.

After earning his bachelors and masters degrees from the University, Ron began a career in media and advertising that eventually resulted in the founding of Tilt Creative + Production, one of the nation’s leading creative agencies. His professional accomplishments provided an opportunity to serve on the boards of the Virginia Athletics Foundation and the Virginia Council of CEOs.

Outside of the office Ron has focused time and effort on improving the lives of children, many who come from underserved communities. Ron has served on the boards of the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Richmond, ChildSavers, and Junior Achievement of Central Virginia to provide work-readiness programs, financial literacy skills, and mental health services to those in need.
