The Richmond native arrived on Grounds in 2011 and started 35 of 49 games, ending his career with 289 tackles and 11 interceptions, which tied him for no. 10 all-time in program history.
Harris then joined the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free–agent, eventually earning a starting role en route to being named one of the top safeties in the NFL.
But it has been Anthony’s contributions off the playing field that are making a true lasting impact.
Through his foundation, Harris has helped serve over 3,000 under-privileged youth and foster care families while providing over 2,000 meals and 750 backpacks and school supplies to young students. Harris has also served his hometown of Richmond, Virginia by sponsoring summer camps and holiday toy and food drives.
He made headlines when he surprised an 11-year old fan by taking her to a daddy-daughter dance following the passing of her father.
